Baby C

As you all know, we do a baby contest every year. We take all the babies from the previous year, post one image from each child and have their friends and families vote for their favorite. The winner receives a $100 gift certificate. This year was a tough race. There were a few that could go all the way, but in the end baby C pulled it off.

Baby C’s mom and dad were one of our wedding couples, so we have known them a few years. We did their engagement session, their wedding photos and have done the family and the baby’s photos a few times. They are always fun to have in the studio and are pretty much up for anything.

Little Man was just about 6 months old, so he was just about able to sit up. For about a second! Mom and dad, along with Ed, were around him in case he fell over.

He is the cutest little guy we have had here in a while! Love that smile. Can’t wait for the cake smash when he turns 1!

A Different Kind of Mother’s Day Photo

Lynsey came to us for some Mother’s Day photos. She wanted something different. You know us; we don’t like to be the same as everyone else. Luckily we had just gotten in our new backdrops and were anxious to try them out! The feedback that we got on them has been good, so we will probably be getting more from these manufaturers.

Lynsey brought some of her son’s favorite toys, along with a hat. This is something we encourage with kid’s shoots. Bring things that they love or are familiar with. This will help them to feel more comfortable durring the shoot.

We really enjoyed working with them and hope to see them again! Here are a few of our favorites from the shoot! Let us know what you think.

Mother’s Day Promotion

It’s that time of year again, almost. It’s almost Spring. According to the groundhog today, there’s only 6 more weeks of winter left! Yay! We’ve been getting ready for the new season with some new props as well as backgrounds. We bought a couple new ones that I can not wait to try out!

The Scranton Times wants all admissions for the Mother’s Day Photo section early. I think it was late March last year. So, we need to get the appointments booked soon if you want to make the deadline!

As an extra incentive, we are giving away a FREE accordion book with every session booked between today and March 20. These books are made of press paper and have 10 individual ‘sides’ to them. What a great way to show off your session! They were only available as an incentive last year. But, now they are available to everyone! Book your session and get yours!

Jackie – Moscow / Scranton Maternity Photographer

We don’t get to shoot maternity photos very often, so we put out a casting call through facebook to get some models. Jackie was the first to make an appointment. We had just finished painting some new backgrounds the night before, and got this one hung up just seconds before she got here.
