Puppy shoot! (and people too)

Right before Christmas we got a call. Do you shoot pets? Yes! We love to shoot pets! Especially dogs. Both Ed and I had dogs growing up. He’s got one now, and I have 3. Mine are spoiled 100 pound monsters! So, we are pretty much ready for any dog that comes in here.

In comes 3 dogs. Two Weimaraners and a Collie mix. If you’ve never been around a Weimaraner, they are very energetic dogs that were originally bred for hunting, and are beautiful dogs.

We had so much fun with this shoot! We would get two dogs to listen, and the third would not cooperate. Or we would get the dogs, and their people were talking. The more people (and pets) you add to an image, the more of a challenge it is.

That being said, We had to include some of the outtakes. Those are always my favorites!
Charlene and John, thanks so much for bringing your furry family. I had a lot of laughs doing this shoot!

Baby C

As you all know, we do a baby contest every year. We take all the babies from the previous year, post one image from each child and have their friends and families vote for their favorite. The winner receives a $100 gift certificate. This year was a tough race. There were a few that could go all the way, but in the end baby C pulled it off.

Baby C’s mom and dad were one of our wedding couples, so we have known them a few years. We did their engagement session, their wedding photos and have done the family and the baby’s photos a few times. They are always fun to have in the studio and are pretty much up for anything.

Little Man was just about 6 months old, so he was just about able to sit up. For about a second! Mom and dad, along with Ed, were around him in case he fell over.

He is the cutest little guy we have had here in a while! Love that smile. Can’t wait for the cake smash when he turns 1!

Every Time I Turn Around It’s One More…

Photobooth that is! Our photobooth has taken a life of it’s own! We’ve been so busy with it that we built a second booth to keep up with the demand.

If you haven’t seen or been in our photobooth, then you must be living under a rock! :) Seriously, we have have been all over the place with it. Hazelton, Penn’s Peak, Sand Springs, Milford, Montdale Country Club, Nay Aug, Moffat Estate and even my own back yard for my daughter’s graduation party.

If you want to check out our booth, join us at Studio 32 in Wilkes Barre on Aug 19th, Nay Aug Park on Aug 20th, or the GDS fair from Aug 27 – Sept 3.

Below are some of the images from some of the crazy people who have been in our booth.

Graduation Announcements are Here!!

Its that time of the year again. Graduation time! This year is especially sentimental for me. My oldest is part of the class of 2011, and the end of the year is coming fast.

I recently designed some graduation announcement cards. All of our cards are available in many different shapes, sizes, and paper finishes; which can be seen on our website. If you don’t like what you see in this gallery, we can design something specifically to you.

If you order cards by the end of May, you also receive 10% off a print order. This is a great way to get those extra wallets that you’ve been meaning to re-order!

Back in Black

Almost a year ago I posted about my daughgter’s travel soccer team, FC America. They had a few players who were seniors, so they were now too old to play in their age bracket. This left half a team. So, back in the summer they played their last tournament together, on the field as a team, on last time. Or so we thought…

This fall we found out that the younger girls who were left behind, were given permission to play in the adult league at Riverfront. The girls scrambled to get their team back, and get some new shirts made. They couldn’t be FC America anymore, so they renamed themselves ‘Back in Black’.

They’ve had a tough season, but managed to win a couple games. The best part was that they were all back together, playing again, for a little while longer.

These images are from last night’s game. I don’t even know what the score was, but I know we lost. It was a rough team, but our girls played well.

Michelle

Last night, Michelle, from Holy Cross High School came up to get her senior portraits done. We did a ton of outdoor shots along with some really cool indoor ones. Michelle was a lot of fun and pretty open to anything we wanted to do. How could we not get killer shots of her? We ended up staying up most of the night to get them all done.
If you go to Holy Cross, or play soccer with or know Michelle, be sure to get one of her senior rep cards off her. Senior rep cards get you 16 free wallets.
